Black mamba removed from a chicken coop in Canelands

A two-meter Black Mamba removed by Jason Arnold of Universal Reptiles and Reaction Officer Kevin Valoo this morning.

Reaction Unit South Africa was called out to a residence in Canelands after the homeowner noticed a huge snake eating his chickens. Reaction Officers called for the assistance of a snake catcher who captured and relocated the snake.

RUSA has responded to 53 snake callouts during the festive season.
