Stolen vehicle successfully recovered in KZN
Stolen vehicle successfully recovered in KZN. Our Fidelity SecureDrive NCRC received a request to activate for a recovery as the vehicle was reported stolen. The vehicle was stolen on 8 March 2025 at 1 pm from the dealership.
The dealership opened a case with SAPS, but did not think that there was a unit installed. Our member verified the vehicle’s VIN and noticed that there was a unit installed. A recovery action was initiated in Ezikhaleni, KwaZulu Natal and the vehicle was stationary.
Fidelity SecureDrive Recovery teams were dispatched to the location and lookouts were placed on all border posts. The vehicle was recovered and one suspect was detained. Fidelity SecureDrive Recovery handed over the scene to SAPS.
