Suspects arrested after breaking in at a church in Durban
Durban Metro Police Service members received information about a house break-in in progress at a church on Carlisle Street. Upon arrival, they observed that the gate and door of the church were open.
Shortly after, three individuals were seen exiting the church carrying a generator and other items. The suspects were followed on foot and stopped on Ingule Road.
Upon searching the individuals, officers recovered a Lutian Generator valued at R25,000, a crowbar, and a bolt cutter. The church pastor positively identified the generator as church property.
