Business on fire in Verulam CBD
Goods from a General Dealer on George Sewpersad Street was extensively damaged after it caught alight this morning.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 06:46 after smoke was discovered emanating from the store.
Firefighters were summoned and on arrival doused the flames.
A large quantity of stock was damaged.
Circumstances leading up to the incident were not established.
