Suspect arrested for possession of a dangerous weapon in Hermanus

Hermanus HPP officers arrested a suspect who was found in possession of a dangerous weapon.

The HPP CCTV operator saw the man loitering outside a building in the industrial area.

Local security role-players were alerted and the suspect was located.

He was identified as a well-known housebreaking suspect and a search led to the discovery of a large knife in his possession.

HPP is a ratepayer-funded initiative in partnership with Fidelity ADT.
