Two homes damaged by fallen trees in Canelands, Verulam

Two wood & iron homes were extensively damaged after a large tree collapsed at an informal settlement in Canelands, Verulam today (Sunday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 13:31 and found that the roofs of both homes had caved in. The
Ethekwini Parks & Gardens has been contacted are expected to cut and remove the tree.
Both homes were unoccupied at the time of the incident.
