Roodepoort: Children learn the importance of public emergency services.
Netcare 911 together with many other emergency services held a community safety day at Laerskool Roodekrans in Roodepoort.
The initiative was to expose children to a broad spectrum of public services – SAPS, Fire Department, emergency medical services, traffic department and highlighted the importance of private security companies.
In doing these presentations each entity brought their speciality to the table and taught the kids in a fun educational environment about road safety, fire safety, animal safety, drug awareness, stranger danger, bicycle, pedestrian, car and home safety.
