The BIG Rand Show 2016: it’s hall-to-hall BIG fun
“Joburg’s BIGGEST Easter destination. Rediscover the Rand Show.”
About the Show: As South Africa’s biggest consumer show and Joburg’s BIGGEST day out, the Rand Show is the entertainment destination of choice this Easter.
Offering 10 days of BIG family fun, the Rand Show is crammed with lifestyle exhibits, shopping and exclusive deals, great food, and a top-class line-up of entertainment chosen to delight every member of the family.
On board for 2016 is the SANDF, with its explosive arena displays and exhibits. The all-new Man Cave presents hours of sporting and motoring entertainment, while the Science & Technology Lab goes BIG with 5 000 sqm of fun including live science shows and two robotics championships. There are cooking, baking, craft, and fashion and beauty workshops and demonstrations, providing lots to learn and do for young and old. The strongmen are back for another competitive round of SA’s Strongest Man, and the hugely popular Extreme Bodies competition will show off some of the best physiques in town. There are also animal shows in the Animal Kingdom, a wide variety of performers on the Spice of Life Stage, Mr and Miss Rand Show 2016, giant bubble fun for kids, and much more. (Attractions are subject to change without notice.)
And the best news is that all of this and more is included in the cost of the entrance ticket. (Fun fair and helicopter rides, the monorail and drifting are charged for by external operators.)
